Corporate
Mentoring Means A Better, Stronger Organisation
Whether you're in Melbourne or Moscow, the skills of
your company’s executives and employees are your most valuable
assets. Corporate and executive mentoring programs provide a
means of cultivating those skills throughout your organisation.
This translates into talent retention (instead of turnover),
greater retention of IP, happier employees and management, and a
healthier bottom line, among other things.
Employee
Mentoring Programs--The Key To Your Success
In today's ultra-competitive workforce, your business can't
afford NOT to have a corporate mentoring program. The
question is, what's the right mentoring solution for your
business or organisation? Would your company be better served by
a professionally managed executive mentoring program, a
self-directed mentoring program, or group mentoring?
Career
Bridge provides a unique service for creating and implementing
structured employee mentoring programs.
How?
Each
mentoring program is custom designed to meet your needs and
achieve your specific goals.
In
addition to developing a corporate mentoring program for your
organisation, Career Bridge will train your staff member/s to
ensure that your company can continue to operate an effective
mentoring program long after our engagement ends.
The
Career Bridge Mentoring program is not a pre-packaged program;
it is custom-designed based on your goals, organisational
culture and specific needs.
The
process for implementing the Career Bridge Mentoring Program
includes:
-
Program
Design
Our consultant works with you to obtain support
from top management and create a task force to provide input
for program design. The consultant works closely with an
internal Mentoring Coordinator (usually HR), training the
manager to continue the mentoring program after Career
Bridge concludes it's work.
Upon
completion of the program design, Career Bridge works with the
client to choose and match mentors with appropriate mentees.
Because their support is essential, managers of mentees are
provided with a personal orientation session if they are not
incorporated in the Mentor Training Program as Mentors.
-
Training
Mentors and mentees are trained separately for 12 hours or
three half days each, followed by a half day of joint
training.
-
Pilot
Support and Evaluation
In addition to providing ongoing support to the Program
Coordinator, we schedule regular meetings to monitor
results and address any challenges. At the conclusion of
the program all participants complete a written assessment
of their experience. Data is collected and evaluated, then
shared with the client, along with any recommendations and
a timeline for rolling out an ongoing program.
